How Coxwave delivers GenAI value faster with Vercel
By Steven Van ·
Coxwave cut deployment times 85% and moved to twice-daily production releases after rebuilding its GenAI analytics platform on Vercel.
Coxwave, which builds GenAI analytics and consulting tools for companies including Anthropic, Meta, Microsoft, and PwC, rebuilt its web app stack on Next.js and Vercel after outgrowing a CloudFront and S3 setup that couldn't handle server-rendered GenAI apps.
The switch changed how often the team could ship:
- Deployment times cut by 85%
- Production deploys went from once a week to twice a day
- Production recovery time dropped 52% using Instant Rollback
- Experiment-to-feedback cycles shrank, with hotfixes shipping the same day
Preview Deployments let Coxwave test features in production-like environments without touching live traffic, and every branch gets its own environment. For Exploration Copilot, an AI assistant built into its Align analytics platform, the team used Preview Environments to test multiple LLM-powered variations in parallel, and the AI SDK's useChat hook to handle streaming, state, and UI updates without writing that boilerplate themselves.
"In GenAI, speed and stability are non-negotiable. Vercel's Preview Environments and rapid deploys let us test in production-like settings and ship features faster, helping us deliver real value to our analytics customers," said Yeop Lee, Head of Product at Coxwave. Coxwave plans to keep using the Vercel and Next.js stack for upcoming projects. Read the full case study.
