Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Lite on AI Gateway

The model generates clips from 1 to 15 seconds with native audio, at resolutions up to 1080p and in seven aspect ratios.
Text prompts and images can now become videos with native audio through Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Lite on Vercel AI Gateway.
Clip lengths and formats
The xAI model generates clips from 1 to 15 seconds long at 480p, 720p, or 1080p. Seven aspect ratios include square, widescreen 16:9, and vertical 9:16. It accepts up to seven input images and supports synchronized audio generation.
Generate through the SDK, CLI, or Playground
Developers can select spacexai/grok-imagine-video-1.5-lite in the AI SDK or AI CLI. In AI SDK 6 or later, the experimental_generateVideo function accepts settings for duration, resolution, and aspect ratio. AI Gateway handles routing and polls until the video is ready.
An image model can be chained with the video model to create a still and animate it in one flow. The model is also available to try in the AI Gateway Playground, using an AI Gateway API key or a provider key.
Pricing
The model page lists video output at $0.02 per second for the lowest available configuration, with image input priced at $0.01 per image.
