Grok Imagine Image 2.0 now available on Vercel AI Gateway

Grok Imagine Image 2.0 Preview from xAI is now available on AI Gateway.
Vercel AI Gateway now offers xAI's Grok Imagine Image 2.0 Preview. The model follows detailed instructions closely and plans typography and layout together, so dense visuals like infographics, posters, and title screens keep their structure and small text stays legible. It also supports image editing, keeping subjects and details consistent across repeated generations.
The model can be tried at imagine.vercel.sh, or used via the AI SDK by setting model to xai/grok-imagine-image-2.0-preview and calling generateImage. resolution can be set to 1k or 2k under providerOptions.xai, and n requests more than one image per call. For editing, an image is passed in prompt.images alongside the instruction, and the model changes what was asked and leaves the rest. Read the full announcement for details.
