Grok 4.6 from SpaceXAI is now available on AI Gateway. The model has a 500K token context window and accepts text and image inputs.
Grok 4.6 is now available on Vercel's AI Gateway, with a 500K token context window and support for both text and image inputs. It offers four reasoning levels, low, medium, high, and xhigh, and defaults to high.
- In the AI SDK, set the model to xai/grok-4.6.
- In a coding agent, run vercel ai-gateway coding-agents setup to connect Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, or Pi, then select xai/grok-4.6 inside the agent.
- Without code, try it in the model playground.
