Grok 4.5 now available on AI Gateway

Grok 4.5 defaults to high reasoning, takes text and image input, and can be swapped in via routing rules with no AI Gateway markup.
Grok 4.5 from SpaceXAI is now available on Vercel's AI Gateway. Built for coding, knowledge work, and STEM, the model accepts both text and image input.
Grok 4.5 supports low, medium, and high reasoning levels, defaulting to high, set with the reasoning parameter to trade speed for depth. To use it, set model to xai/grok-4.5 in the AI SDK, or add a routing rule to redirect existing traffic to Grok 4.5 from another gateway model, such as Grok 4.3, without changing any code. As with other AI Gateway models, pricing matches the provider's rates with no markup or platform fee, including on Bring Your Own Key requests.
