GPT Image 2 on AI Gateway

GPT Image 2 joins Vercel's AI Gateway, rendering dense text and fine detail at up to 2K resolution via the AI SDK.
Vercel has added OpenAI's GPT Image 2 to its AI Gateway. The model handles detailed instruction following and accurate placement of objects, and renders dense text, including non-English text, across multiple aspect ratios at up to 2K resolution. It can produce photos, cinematic stills, pixel art and manga with consistent texture, lighting and composition, which suits game prototyping, storyboarding, marketing creative and other asset generation work.
To use it, set the model to openai/gpt-image-2 in the AI SDK, or try it in Vercel's model playground.
