Vercel's AI Gateway is offering GLM-5.3 at 50% off through DigitalOcean until Tuesday, September 8. To get the discounted rate, use the promo model name zai/glm-5.3-promo-50, which routes only to DigitalOcean with no fallback and stops working once the offer ends.
To keep working past September 8, use the standard name zai/glm-5.3 instead, with providerOptions.gateway set to order: ['digitalocean']. This prefers DigitalOcean at its usual rate but falls back to other providers if needed. GLM-5.3 takes text input, with a 1M token context window and a maximum output of 128K tokens. Discounted requests show up in the spend dashboard with a normal trace. The model can also be selected inside coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor and Pi via vercel ai-gateway coding-agents setup.
