Eve agents on Vercel get free access to GLM 5.2, Z.ai's open-weights coding model with a 1M-token context window, through August 27. The model is served by Blackbox AI on AI Gateway, and new eve agents now use it as their default.
- Create a new agent with GLM 5.2 preset using npx eve@latest init my-agent.
- Switch an existing agent by setting model: "zai/glm-5.2" in agent/agent.ts, or by running eve set --model zai/glm-5.2 from the CLI.
- The free offer does not cover Fast mode or the zai/glm-5.2-fast variant.
- After August 27, GLM 5.2 stays available on AI Gateway at standard provider rates.
