Gemini 3 Pro now available in Vercel AI Gateway

Vercel AI Gateway now offers Gemini 3 Pro with no separate Google account, plus configurable reasoning via the AI SDK.
Gemini 3 Pro is now available through Vercel AI Gateway, with no separate Google provider account required. Vercel says the model improves on Gemini 2.5 Pro in multi-step function calling, planning, reasoning over complex images and long documents, and instruction following.
To use it with the AI SDK, developers set the model to google/gemini-3.0-pro-preview. As a reasoning model, Gemini 3 Pro supports a configurable thinking level, and reasoning text can be enabled by passing includeThoughts in the providerOptions configuration.
