Gemini 3.6 Flash and Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite are now available on AI Gateway

Both models are selected via the AI SDK's model parameter, with AI Gateway pricing matching the providers' own rates.
Vercel's AI Gateway now supports Gemini 3.6 Flash and Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite.
- Gemini 3.6 Flash improves quality on coding, agentic tasks, and web development while using fewer tokens and fewer model calls, producing cleaner web and app development output.
- Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite gets upgraded agentic capabilities, making it suited to subagents that handle scoped parts of a larger task.
To use either, set the model to google/gemini-3.6-flash or google/gemini-3.5-flash-lite in the AI SDK.
