Vercel's AI SDK harness layer now supports fx, its own lightweight, open-source coding agent, via the official @ai-sdk/harness-fx adapter. The adapter connects to fx over the Agent Client Protocol using @ai-sdk/harness-acp, so it can be configured with HarnessAgent without a separate integration. fx joins Claude Code, Cline, Codex, Cursor, Deep Agents, Grok Build, OpenCode and Pi in the list of supported harnesses.
