Stripe leaves beta on Vercel's Marketplace and v0, adding production account support alongside the existing sandbox mode.
Stripe is now generally available on the Vercel Marketplace and in v0, with support for connecting production accounts rather than just Stripe Sandbox, which is what the earlier beta was limited to.
Built with Stripe, the integration provisions API keys as environment variables automatically and supports both sandbox and live modes, so moving from test payments to production no longer means manually retrieving and copying keys across environments. The general availability release unlocks production use cases including:
- Live ecommerce: accepting real payments and managing checkout flows for production storefronts
- Production SaaS billing: charging customers for subscriptions, usage, and invoices from day one
- Shipping to real users: moving from sandbox to production without re-wiring the integration
