FLUX.2 Pro image model is now available on Vercel AI Gateway

FLUX.2 Pro joins Vercel AI Gateway, adding multi-reference input and up to 4MP output via the bfl/flux-2-pro model.
Vercel's AI Gateway now supports FLUX.2 Pro, the newest image model from Black Forest Labs, with no separate provider account required. It's a newly trained base model built for higher-resolution output (up to 4MP), improved real-world knowledge, and precise control over lighting and spatial composition. Compared with FLUX.1, it adds multi-reference input, better character and product consistency, exact colour matching, and more control options.
Unlike the multimodal LLMs already available in AI Gateway, FLUX.2 Pro is a pure image-focused rectified-flow transformer. Developers can access it by setting the model to bfl/flux-2-pro in the AI SDK, using the generateImage function.
