Flags SDK 3.2

By Steven Van ·

Flags SDK 3.2 brings the precompute pattern to SvelteKit, keeping experiment pages static and adding framework-specific docs with a full provider list.

Precomputed feature flags now work in SvelteKit, as part of the Flags SDK 3.2 release from Vercel. The aim is to make it easier to run experiments on marketing pages while keeping them fast and avoiding layout shift.

Precomputed flags evaluate in Edge Middleware, which decides which variant of a page to show. Pages stay static, so variants can be served through the Edge Network with low global latency. Precompute also handles the combinatory explosion that comes from using several feature flags statically. Variants can be generated at build time, or Incremental Static Regeneration can build specific combinations only on demand.

The release also reorganises the Flags SDK documentation. It is now split by framework and explicitly lists every provider that has an adapter for the SDK. Details are in the original announcement.
