Enterprise teams can now ship faster without build queues

By Steven Van ·

On-demand concurrency is the default for new Enterprise projects, billed by the 10-minute build slot, and existing projects can opt in.

New projects in Vercel Enterprise teams now use on-demand concurrent builds by default, which removes build queue bottlenecks. The feature scales build capacity automatically and dynamically, and the change took effect on 31 January 2025.

Existing projects can switch it on at any time, either with urgent on-demand concurrent builds or at the project level.

Billing is based on the number of 10-minute build slots needed to let builds proceed, as set out in Vercel's usage and limits documentation.
