Discover 1000+ services on Vercel Connect from the CLI
By Steven Van ·
The new vercel connect discover command searches and filters Vercel Connect services from the terminal and needs CLI version 64.1.0 or later.
You and your agents can now browse and search more than 1000 services available in Vercel Connect from the terminal. The new vercel connect discover command is part of the Vercel CLI, and the CLI docs cover the full vercel connect command set.
Searching and filtering
vercel connect discover searches by name, alias, keyword and description, so vercel connect discover crm finds services related to CRM. Each result shows the service name to pass to vercel connect create, its display name, the connection methods it supports, and a short description. It returns 50 services by default, up to a maximum of 500, and the output ends with a command for the next page when more results match.
Results can be filtered with these options:
- --category filters by category. vercel connect categories lists the valid category slugs.
- --connection-method filters by method, such as mcp, oauth or api-key.
- --target filters by the product a service exposes, such as api or mcp.
- --supports-triggers limits results to services that can forward webhook triggers.
The category, connection method and target filters can be repeated, for example vercel connect discover --category ai --category data. Both discover and categories support --format=json for scripts and agents.
Creating a connector
The service name from the results can be passed to vercel connect create, as in vercel connect create slack. For a known service, the CLI reads the connection methods Vercel publishes for it and prompts for what the connector needs. Running vercel connect create notion --help lists a service's products, connection methods, required credentials and a runnable example for each.
Availability
The commands require version 64.1.0 or later of the CLI.
