Vercel Blob stores can now be created from a v0 chat dialog, with private access selected by default.
Vercel now lets teams create private and public blob stores with a single click inside v0. Adding Vercel Blob to a chat opens a dialog for choosing a region and access type, with private storage selected by default.
Private stores require authentication to read files, while public stores allow direct reads for assets like media. Once a store is connected, the agent understands its configuration and writes the matching implementation, setting up authenticated delivery routes for private stores or direct URLs for public ones, without requiring manual code.
