Changes to supported TLD registrations

By Steven Van ·

Vercel now registers 66 more TLDs, drops some country-code, regional and compound ones, and leaves existing registrations and renewals untouched.

Vercel has changed which Vercel domain registrations it supports, adding 66 TLDs and removing some others. The changes take effect immediately.

  • Added: 66 new TLDs, including generic (.page, .food, .hosting), professional (.lawyer, .phd, .inc), lifestyle (.beauty, .living, .lifestyle) and interest-based (.guitars, .yachts, .watches) domains.
  • Removed: registration support for select country-code TLDs (e.g. .at, .lu, .ma), regional TLDs (e.g. .berlin, .wales, .istanbul) and compound TLDs (e.g. .com.co, .org.pl, .co.nz).

Existing registrations, renewals and services for the deprecated TLDs are not affected. Vercel says it plans to reintroduce select country-code TLDs and add more generic TLDs.
