Build your own AI app builder with the v0 Platform API

Vercel's beta v0 Platform API and v0-sdk TypeScript library let developers build custom app builders on v0's code-generation pipeline.
Vercel has opened up the code-generation pipeline behind v0 with a new Platform API, currently in beta. It's a REST interface that wraps v0's full generation lifecycle, from prompt to project to code files to deployment, and every app built through it is backed by a v0.dev chat link.
- Natural language app generation: send a prompt and get back parsed code files plus a live demo URL
- Bring your own context: start chats from existing source code, a git repo, or the shadcn registry, or attach files to individual messages
- Projects and deployments: create Vercel projects, link them to a chat, and trigger deploys
Developers access it through the v0-sdk TypeScript library (pnpm install v0-sdk), authenticated with a V0_API_KEY from v0's account settings. Full details are in the v0 API docs.
