AWS databases now available on the Vercel Marketplace

By Steven Van ·

New AWS accounts get $100 in free credits, valid for six months, toward Aurora PostgreSQL, Aurora DSQL, or DynamoDB.

Three AWS databases, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora DSQL, and Amazon DynamoDB, are now available as native integrations on the Vercel Marketplace, alongside Amazon OpenSearch Serverless. Developers can provision and manage them from the Vercel dashboard without manual setup.

  • One-click creation of a new AWS account, with databases provisioned and linked directly to a Vercel project.
  • Simplified region selection, secure credential handling, and unified monitoring of AWS database resources from within Vercel.
  • Connection strings and credentials are stored automatically as environment variables in the Vercel project.
  • New AWS customers get a free starter plan with $100 in credits, valid for six months, with deep links to manage or upgrade plans in the AWS console.

Vercel says it is also working on support for provisioning into an existing AWS account and for accessing AWS databases directly inside v0. Full details are on the announcement page.
