AWS databases are now live on the Vercel Marketplace and v0

By Steven Van ·

New and existing Vercel teams can provision Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or Aurora DSQL from the dashboard or via v0, with $100 in AWS credits for new accounts.

AWS databases are now available directly in the Vercel Marketplace and in v0. Developers can provision Aurora PostgreSQL, Amazon DynamoDB, or Aurora DSQL from the Vercel dashboard using a guided setup flow with automatic project configuration, without manual IAM setup, credential wiring, or switching between consoles.

In v0, prompting for an app that needs a database now triggers AWS to provision the database and create or link the AWS account automatically, going from prompt to a working app with a production database in minutes. New AWS teams can start on a free plan with $100 in credits, valid for six months. Vercel also reports that Aurora PostgreSQL averaged about 1ms per round trip in its own testing, since its functions and AWS run in the same data centers, faster than the two other providers it compared against.
