Anomaly alerts for Vercel are now generally available for teams on Observability Plus, at no extra cost. Alerts flag unusual patterns in a project's traffic or errors, such as a spike in 5xx responses on a specific route or an unexpected jump in edge requests or function duration.
- Usage anomalies cover metrics such as function invocations, function duration, function CPU duration, and edge requests.
- Error anomalies cover abnormal error patterns, such as sudden spikes in 5xx responses on a specific route.
- Once an anomaly is detected, Vercel Agent can automatically investigate it, identify a likely root cause, analyze the impact, and suggest next steps for remediation.
- Alerts can be viewed in the dashboard or sent by email, Slack, or webhook, and alert rules let teams customize what they're notified about.
