An expanded Vercel Agent: chat, investigations, and approved actions, now in public beta

Vercel Agent adds dashboard chat, production investigations and approved actions in public beta for Pro and Enterprise teams.
Vercel Agent now lives in the Vercel dashboard, not just on pull requests. The expanded agent is in public beta for Pro and Enterprise teams, rolling out gradually, and can investigate production issues, answer questions, and take action with approval.
- Dashboard chat: ask questions about a project and get answers grounded in real deployment data, from the dashboard or Slack.
- Production investigations: point Agent at a failed deployment, a runtime error, or a cost spike, and it traces the cause and recommends a fix.
- Approved actions: with sign-off, Agent can open a PR, roll back a deployment, or update a config to fix an issue.
- Code review continues as before: sandbox-validated suggestions on pull requests, now one capability inside the broader Agent.
Agent runs under its own identity, bounded by the requesting user's permissions, and is read-only by default; elevated tasks need a scoped plan approved first. Simple requests, like finding a setting or explaining a warning, are free for a limited number of messages during the beta. Requests that involve investigating, planning, or writing code are billed on demand at provider token rates plus a $0.25 per million token Vercel Token Rate, which now also applies to code review.
