Amazon S3 joins the Vercel Marketplace
By Steven Van ·
Connections use short-lived OIDC credentials, and linked AWS accounts support only new buckets created through Vercel.
Developers can create and connect Amazon S3 resources from their Vercel project dashboard. The integration adds connection details as environment variables and lets developers manage storage alongside application infrastructure, with links to AWS for deeper configuration.
Connections and prompt-based setup
Authentication uses short-lived OIDC credentials without storing static AWS keys. Amazon S3 is also available in v0, which can provision resources, configure connections and generate code from a prompt.
Object storage, tables and vectors
The AWS Marketplace page describes the S3 integration for existing AWS workflows, with S3 Tables for analytics on managed Iceberg tables and S3 Vectors for vector storage and search. Vercel positions the S3 integration for existing AWS workflows, while Vercel Blob provides public and private application file uploads with built-in caching and CDN delivery.
New and existing AWS accounts
New AWS customers who create an account through Vercel receive $100 USD in credits, valid for six months.
Existing AWS accounts can also be linked, with plan and usage management available in the Vercel dashboard. Linked accounts support only new buckets created through Vercel.
