Agents can now access protected deployments via Vercel’s MCP server

Two new MCP tools let agents fetch and browse Vercel Authentication-protected deployments without login credentials.
Vercel's MCP server can now reach deployments protected by Vercel Authentication. Two new tools handle this: get_access_to_vercel_url generates a temporary shareable URL that lets agent tools like web fetch or Playwright open a protected deployment without login credentials, and web_fetch_vercel_url lets an agent fetch content directly from a protected deployment even when a normal fetch would return a 401 or 403.
The tools are part of Vercel's MCP server, available in beta on all plans at mcp.vercel.com.
