Agents at work, a partnership with Salesforce and Slack
By Steven Van ·
Vercel and Salesforce are bringing AI agents into Slack, and Vercel's own v0 agent is joining as an early access preview.
Vercel and Salesforce are partnering to bring AI agents into the Salesforce ecosystem, starting with Slack. Agents built on Vercel AI Cloud can run directly in Slack threads, reading a request and generating, fetching, or triggering a response without leaving the conversation.
To show the pattern in practice, Vercel is bringing its own agent, v0, to Slack. The multiplayer agent works inside a Slack workspace, respecting existing permissions, and lets teams prototype and deploy sites, apps, and agents from within the conversation. Early access to v0 in Slack is open via signup.
Developers building their own Slack agents can start from a Bolt for JavaScript and Nitro template, using frameworks such as Next.js, Hono, Nitro, or Express with the AI SDK, and deploy on Vercel with one click. Vercel and Salesforce also said they will work together over the coming months on further integration between Agentforce 360 and Next.js, React, and other frontend tools.
