Additional custom environments can now be purchased

Pro and Enterprise teams can now buy custom environment capacity in packs of five for $50 a month, up to 16 or 22 per project.
Vercel now lets Pro and Enterprise teams buy additional custom environment capacity without contacting sales. Custom environments cover longer-running pre-production stages, such as staging or QA, sitting between preview and production, each with its own branch tracking, environment variables, and domains. Capacity can be purchased or adjusted from the dashboard, the API, or the CLI (vercel buy addon custom-environment), and is sold in packs of five environments at $50 a month per pack.
- Pro: 1 custom environment included per project, up to 16 total.
- Enterprise: 12 custom environments included per project, up to 22 total.
Capacity can also be reduced, as long as the project isn't using more environments than the new limit allows. Purchases require an active Pro or Enterprise plan, billing permissions, and a valid payment method.
