A more flexible Pro plan for modern teams

Vercel Pro moves to a flexible credit balance, adds free Viewer seats, and puts SAML SSO and HIPAA BAAs on self-serve.
Vercel is changing how Vercel Pro plan usage is billed, moving from more than 20 separate included allotments to a single flexible credit balance. Each month starts with $20 in flexible credit usable across a team's projects, plus $150+ dedicated to Fast Data Transfer and $20+ for Edge Requests.
- Teams can now add free Viewer seats for teammates who need to view previews, analytics, and dashboards but don't deploy code.
- Enterprise features including SAML SSO and HIPAA BAAs are now available to purchase directly on Pro, without contacting sales. PrivateLink and static IPs are planned in the coming months.
- Spend Management is now enabled by default for all projects, with automatic alerts before on-demand usage begins and when a team approaches its spend limit (initially $200 for new teams). Limits can be customised, and deployments can be set to pause automatically once a limit is reached.
- On-demand concurrent builds and transform-based Image Optimization pricing are also now available by default on Pro.
Vercel says about 7% of teams with usage spread across many products will likely see their bill go up, mostly by a modest amount, while more than 100,000 paying teams will see a decrease or no change. The new pricing starts rolling out automatically in October, but teams can opt in now. The free Hobby plan is unchanged.
