Pancake's public map of Bay Area cafés where VCs hang out. Every pin is backed by a tweet, and the page lists no price.
Francois de Fitte, founder of Pancake, posted VC Coffee Map on October 26. It is a map of Bay Area cafés where you have the best shot at meeting VCs. The site title is "The Bay's most caffeinated capital."
The page's meta description says 20 cafés. The map itself lists 19 cafés and 36 VCs, and the line on the page says every pin is backed by a tweet. Opening a pin shows that tweet. Zones mark who hangs out there: multi-stage funds, seed funds, solo GPs and angels, partners off-duty, a weekend crowd, and YC and founders.
The map is public at meetvc.cafe. The page does not list a price. A control labeled "Try pancake.ai" links to Pancake, Francois's separate go-to-market product. The announcement does not say the café list will stay at 19.
