Twitch Stream Recaps let followers catch up on streams they missed
By Steven Van ·
Recaps turn a stream’s clips into a catch-up reel at the top of followers’ mobile feeds, available even after the streamer goes offline.
Twitch introduced Stream Recaps on October 20, a way for followers to catch up on what they missed. Recaps let viewers relive a stream’s best moments through clips, available anytime, even when the streamer is offline.
Twitch’s blog says recaps appear right at the top of followers’ mobile feeds. For streamers, a recap is created automatically after the stream ends, from the clips you and your editors made during the broadcast, and it keeps your best moments on your channel page.
You can review and edit your recap anytime from the Creator Dashboard, under Stream Summary.
Twitch teased the launch on October 19 with “Stream Recaps coming Oct 20”. The announcement does not mention any cost or eligibility limits.
