Tesseract can rebuild any video as an editable project

Claude and ChatGPT can take a video link or upload and rebuild it as a new Tesseract project. The original file is not recovered.
Captions maker Mirage said on October 28 that Claude and ChatGPT can use any video as a reference for a new, editable project. You paste a link or upload a video, then tell the agent what you would do differently. The post on X is cut off after “or take your.”
Mirage’s recreate-a-video page says the agent rebuilds visible text, graphics, layouts, motion, and timing as a new Tesseract project. It does not recover the original file: hidden layers and effect settings are not stored in an MP4, and objects inside recorded footage do not automatically become separate layers. The local engine is free on Mac, Windows, and Linux. Your agent’s costs are separate.
That page also says you can ask the agent to convert the new project for Premiere Pro or After Effects. Support is partial, and After Effects export is experimental.
