Suno Studio: Improved MIDI and more
By Steven Van ·
Suno Studio's MIDI transcription is faster and more accurate, and clips can now be renamed individually or via the chat bar.
Suno has improved MIDI performance in Studio, its browser-based DAW, making it faster and more accurate to work with.
- Transcription from MIDI to audio is faster, carries more musical context, and stays closer to the original.
- The chat bar can turn a MIDI clip into new audio stems with more accurate results.
- Prompting MIDI from scratch through the chat bar now produces better, more expected results.
- MIDI files made outside Suno can be uploaded and reworked in Studio, for example turning a synth part into a guitar solo or a gamelan orchestra.
- Clips can be renamed individually (right-click and select Rename) or in bulk with a chat bar prompt like "rename all my clips to reflect the track names".
Suno also fixed other bugs and made general usability updates, detailed in the release notes.
