Suno Studio 2.0 adds MIDI, a chat bar, and a wavetable synth

Available now for Premier subscribers, the browser DAW gains timeline MIDI editing, chat-built instruments and effects, and automation.
Suno released Studio 2.0, an overhaul of its browser-based generative DAW, on 13 August 2026. The update adds MIDI import, recording and editing on the timeline, playable by a MIDI controller or the typing keyboard; a chat bar for generating instruments, vocals and custom plugins or synth presets; audio effects including sidechain compression and convolution reverb, which can also be built via the chat bar; a wavetable synth for basses, leads, pads and chords; musical typing with an arpeggiator and chord mode; and automation for changing effect parameters over time.
