Suno adds Advanced Split for stem extraction
By Steven Van ·
Premier subscribers can now pull nearly 100 individual instruments from a track, alongside cleaner separation across all modes.
Suno has updated its Suno stem separation tool, adding a new extraction mode alongside the existing ones.
- Advanced Split is new: choose exactly what to extract from a list of nearly 100 instruments, from drum kit to didgeridoo. It's limited to Premier subscribers.
- Split from Mix is updated: pull any instrument or voice from a track and get two stems back, that element and everything else without it.
- Auto Split is unchanged: the classic model that splits a song into 12 stem categories for quick separation.
Suno says the underlying separation is also cleaner across all three modes, with fewer artifacts. Stem extraction is available from the Get Stems option in the Edit menu.
