Suno launches an AI song generator built into the iMessage keyboard

Suno wants your group chats to have a soundtrack. The AI music generator is now available as an iMessage keyboard: make your texts sing by creating a song and sending it without ever leaving the conversation. The pitch is as light as it sounds, and that's the point.
Music where the conversation is
Meeting the medium is a recurring theme in this month's launches, and Suno's version is distribution at its most casual. A birthday song for a friend, a petty diss track about a group-chat argument, a jingle for an inside joke, these are things people would never open an app to make, but will absolutely tap out from the keyboard mid-thread. By living inside iMessage, Suno turns song creation from a destination into a reaction, which is exactly how memes spread.
The virality math
Every song made in the keyboard is sent to at least one other person, in the app where sharing is frictionless and screenshots (or forwards) are one tap. That's a sharper growth loop than an in-app export flow: the creation and the distribution are the same action. It mirrors what Google did by putting Gemini avatars one prompt away and Base44 by adding a radio station in-editor, remove the step between having the impulse and acting on it, and usage follows.
A quick note on expectations
An iMessage keyboard is a lightweight surface, so this is for quick, fun, short songs, not producing your next release. That's a feature, not a limitation: the serious creation stays in Suno's main app, and the keyboard is the on-ramp that gets more people making anything at all.
Turn it on
Update your Suno app to the latest version, then enable the Suno keyboard in iOS Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards. From the next conversation, you can make a song and send it inline.
