Stageshow helps agents draw faux UI and animations

By Steven Van ·

Benji Taylor's MIT-licensed skill covers stills, cursor animations, and bento grids, though the examples are illustrations rather than the real products.

Benji Taylor released Stageshow on October 31, 2026, a skill that helps an agent make faux product UI. It covers stills, cursor animations, and bento grids, in React and plain CSS. Install it with npx skills add benjitaylor/skills --skill stageshow.

The skill is free under the MIT license, copyright 2026 Benji Taylor. It ships gold examples and a film script so the agent can rehearse a demo before handing it over. His page says most models can already fake a UI, and that the skill is for the sloppy result that usually comes back. Previewing the examples needs Node 20.19 or later. The kit needs React 18 or later and no third-party animation runtime.

The drawn windows, phones, and dashboards are illustrations. The page says they are not affiliated with the products they resemble. The pages checked do not list a paid plan.
