Spotify marks 20 years with a personal listening retrospective

By Steven Van ·

The mobile-only feature shows your first streamed song, top artist, and a 120-track playlist, live in 144 markets.

To mark its 20th anniversary, Spotify has rolled out Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s), a mobile-only in-app retrospective covering a user's entire listening history since they joined.

  • Your first day on Spotify
  • Total number of unique songs you listened to
  • Your first streamed song
  • Your all-time most-streamed artist
  • An All-Time Top Songs playlist of your top 120 tracks, with play counts shown, that can be saved to your library

Each data story ends with a share card for saving or posting results. The experience is live on mobile across 144 markets and 16 languages: open the Spotify app and search "Spotify 20" or "Party of the Year(s)," or visit spotify.com/20 on mobile. For a limited time, the app also shows a green disco ball version of the Spotify logo, and an editorial hub features playlists curated around the past two decades' defining eras and cultural shifts.
