Slackbot in Slack now works as an MCP client, connecting to more than 20 partner apps directly from a conversation. From a message, you can ask it to build an app with Replit, pull a live chart from Amplitude, update a Linear ticket, or create a design in Canva, without switching tools.

Slack announced the feature on 21 June 2026.
