Shotbase 1.5.0 adds local AI model choices, a Quick Access auto-close option, and an editor shortcut for the latest capture.
Shotbase 1.5.0 gives users more control over which local AI model runs on their Mac, along with new capture and editing shortcuts.
- Intelligence settings now offer a curated choice of local AI models, with recommendations to help pick one.
- Quick Access can be set to close automatically after a capture, or stay open until dismissed manually.
- The latest capture can be opened directly in the editor with ⌥⌘O, a shortcut that can be reassigned in Settings.
- Motion framing keeps the subject more steadily in view as the pointer changes direction.
- New captures start with a wedge cursor, and recordings are styled by default.
The update also fixes an unintended auto-zoom when stopping a recording, inconsistent text-annotation wrapping at different canvas zoom levels, and model downloads that failed to recover after being cancelled or interrupted. Full details are in the changelog, which links to the announcement.
