Runway ships an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Replit

No API key needed: generations use your normal Runway credits and land in your Runway library.
Runway now offers an MCP server, so Runway generation works directly inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Replit and other MCP-compatible agents. No API key is needed: you add the connector URL in your agent's settings and sign in with your Runway account.
From a chat, agents can call models including Gen-4.5, Seedance 2.5, GPT Image 2, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1 and Nano Banana Pro to turn a prompt, a product link or an uploaded image into images or video, for things like product shots, marketing videos or dialogue-driven ads. The agent can pick a model automatically or you can request one by name. Generations draw on the same Runway credits as the regular app, are billed the same way, and are saved to your Runway library alongside the rest of your work, which Runway says makes the connector usable for team production work, not just exploration.
