Runway Launches DIFFUSE for AI-Native Creative Talent

Creatives list portfolios and brands search directly, with Runway citing AI skills in 17% of over 1,000 analyzed creative job postings.
Runway has launched DIFFUSE, an open platform for AI-native creative talent to build a profile, host a portfolio and connect with brands, agencies and studios looking to hire them. Independent artists, boutique studios and production companies can showcase their work, while hiring teams can search the platform and reach out directly.
In the announcement, Runway says the platform answers a recurring question from its enterprise customers: who can they hire to help integrate generative tools into their creative work. The company cites its own review of more than 1,000 open creative job postings across nearly 400 companies, finding that 17% mention AI skills or generative tools, with Runway the most-requested video-specific tool among them.
