Runway Labs has shared an early experiment in real-time video generation: a drawing app that animates sketches as they're drawn. The underlying video model generates each frame live, so a sketch turns into motion as soon as it's made rather than after a rendering pass.
The demo comes from Runway's research team and was posted on X as an early look at real-time video models rather than a shipped product feature.
