Introducing Solaris

Runway introduced Solaris, the first of its Interface World Models. Instead of code sitting between a design and a running app, one model generates every frame of the interface, and every response to your input, live as you use it: click a button and the model paints what happens next. Runway reports Solaris was preferred 61% of the time on instruction following and 71% on natural behavior against coded interfaces, by its own evaluation. It is not a public product yet: Runway is launching with key partners and taking early-access requests, and says legible text, coherence over long sessions, and screen-reader support are still open problems.
