Riverside adds AI motion graphics inside its editor

Riverside has added motion graphics to its editor. You can generate and customize them right where you're already cutting your recording, with Riverside pitching the feature as a way to make videos look, in its own words, more "profesh and expensive" without leaving the app.
Closing the gap between raw recording and finished cut
Riverside built its name on capturing studio-quality podcast and video interviews from anywhere, with separate local tracks per participant so a shaky connection never touches recording quality. Motion graphics push it further down the finishing side of the pipeline: lower thirds, titles, and animated accents that used to mean exporting into a separate motion design tool can now be generated and tuned inside the same editor that already holds your synced footage.
Part of a fast editorial build-out
This lands in the middle of a busy stretch for Riverside's editor. Earlier in July the platform shipped what it calls the first agentic editor that understands your conversation, editing around what was actually said instead of requiring manual cuts, plus in-person multicam recording and direct publishing to Apple Podcasts and social platforms. Motion graphics generation slots into that same push: fewer trips out of Riverside to finish a piece, whether the step is understanding the content, capturing multiple cameras, or dressing up the final export.
Why it matters for solo creators and small teams
Motion graphics are usually the step that separates a scrappy recording from something that reads as a produced show, and they are also the step most creators skip because it means learning After Effects or hiring someone. Generating and customizing them inline removes that detour entirely. For podcasters and interview shows publishing on a weekly cadence, that is real time back, and a lower bar to hitting a more polished look consistently rather than only on the episodes worth the extra effort.
