Reve adds Reframe, Layer Groups, and shareable style references

Three quality-of-life updates let Reve users resize images to any format, group layered designs, and share saved styles with collaborators.
Reve shipped three quality-of-life features in the same week that, together, say a lot about where the image platform is heading. Reframe lets you expand an image outward or push closer to the details, in any aspect ratio. Layer Groups bring real editing structure to multi-element designs. And references, Reve's way of capturing a visual style you want to keep, are now shareable. None of them is a new model; all of them remove friction the model can't.
Reframe: one image, every format
Reframe covers the two directions every finished image eventually needs to move. Expand, and Reve outpaints beyond the original borders, turning a square generation into a wide banner, a vertical story, or whatever aspect ratio the destination demands. Get closer, and it recomposes around the details that matter, effectively a smart crop that can regenerate at full quality rather than just throwing away pixels.
For working creators, the aspect-ratio half is the killer detail. Nothing you make lives in one place anymore: the same visual needs a 1:1 for the feed, 9:16 for stories, 16:9 for the header. Reframe turns those from three regenerations, with three chances for the image to drift, into three framings of the same image.
Layer Groups: structure for real design work
Between the two, Reve also shipped Layer Groups. Combine elements into a group to move and resize them together, and apply effects or annotations at the group level to mask exactly which layers they touch. It's the kind of feature that sounds mundane until you've tried building a multi-element design without it; grouping is how compositions stop being piles of layers and start being editable structures, and it signals Reve pushing from single-image generation toward genuine layout work, the same direction its text-and-graphics update pointed earlier this month.
References you can pass around
Two days later, Reve made references shareable. References are how you shape a style in Reve, anchor a look you like and carry it across generations. Until now, a reference lived and died in your own account. Now you can share it, which turns a personal setting into a collaboration primitive: a brand's visual style, dialed in once by whoever has the best eye, handed to everyone else on the team.
The pattern: Reve is building for teams
Shareable references landed less than an hour before Reve announced Reve for Teams, its shared workspace for concepting, generating, and editing together, and that's no coincidence. Shared styles are the connective tissue team workspaces need; Reframe is the output flexibility client work demands. Piece by piece, Reve, already known for top-ranked prompt adherence and natural-language editing, is assembling the workflow layer that turns a strong model into a production tool.
