Visa invests in Replit, and self-serve enterprise access launches

Visa has made an undisclosed investment in Replit, and the two companies are exploring how to integrate Visa's payment products into the platform so developers, and the AI agents they build, can accept payments without leaving Replit. The announcement says this includes Visa's Intelligent Commerce suite for AI-powered payments and its Trusted Agent Protocol, which lets AI agents identify themselves so agent-initiated payments can be verified. Visa said more than 1,000 of its employees already use Replit for prototyping, but none of this is a shipped product yet: both companies describe the integration work as exploratory.
Alongside the investment, Replit is launching self-serve enterprise access, letting companies sign contracts worth up to $200,000 without talking to a salesperson. The tier includes SSO, audit logs, and advanced permissions.
