Replit Desktop Windows preview with Microsoft and NVIDIA
By Steven Van ·
The private preview runs each local build in an isolated sandbox, with early access available through a waitlist.
Apps can now be built and run locally on Windows PCs through Replit Desktop, which is available in private preview.
Isolated local builds
Agent runs each build in its own isolated sandbox powered by Microsoft Execution Containers (MXC) and NVIDIA OpenShell. A waitlist offers early access to the preview.
Work across projects from one chat
Users can ask Replit to find existing projects, read their files, and send tasks to them by naming a project or describing what it does. Changes run as background tasks for review, and nothing is published automatically.
The workflow supports bringing a feature from one project to another, comparing how apps work, and drafting documentation across several websites without switching between projects.
Create and track TikTok ads
Connecting a TikTok Ads account through MCP lets users ask Replit to create and launch campaigns with a budget and schedule, then report on performance. Replit’s asset creation tools can also make content for the ads.
