Replit + Databricks Integration Is Generally Available

By Steven Van ·

Replit Agent can now provision a managed Databricks Lakebase database automatically when an app deploys to production.

The Replit and Databricks integration is now generally available, adding native support for Databricks Lakebase. The integration moved out of public preview, which launched in June 2026.

With native Lakebase support, Replit Agent can automatically provision a managed Lakebase database when an app is ready for production, rather than requiring manual setup. Apps can then read live data from the Databricks warehouse while storing new app data in Lakebase, inheriting Databricks' existing security and governance controls.

  • Automated preview deploys: Replit creates a separate preview environment that keeps test data isolated from live business data in Databricks.
  • Supervised AI migration flow: Unity Catalog provides unified permissions, lineage and audit for Lakebase data access, and any database changes require team approval before they go live.
  • Native Lakebase provisioning: Replit automates production database setup as part of deployment.

The announcement is aimed at enterprise teams building full-stack apps on governed, live Databricks data.
