Replit is now fully available in Japanese
By Steven Van ·
Replit’s screens, prompts and output now all work in Japanese, as the company opens a Tokyo office with launch events on November 5 and 6.
Replit announced on October 26 that it can now be used entirely in Japanese. That covers the app’s screens, the prompts you write and the output it builds.

The change comes as Replit opens an office in Japan to bring app and agent building closer to Japanese businesses. Replit is marking the launch with events in Tokyo on November 5 and 6, including a workshop with Microsoft on turning company data into a business dashboard, and an invite-only opening night.
To go with the Japan launch, Replit’s top ambassador Minsang made a promo that recreates Tokyo’s streets. You can move from Shinjuku to Tsukiji, switch from day to night and look for Replit logos lighting up the skyline.
