Create and manage TikTok Ads

By Steven Van ·

Campaigns use an existing promotional video and require a TikTok Ads account with billing set up; advertising costs are separate.

A finished promotional video can become a TikTok campaign through a chat in Replit. Its TikTok Ads connection uses MCP to prepare a campaign for approval and report on results afterward.

Prepare and approve a campaign

Once the advertising account is connected, Replit can check its currency, time zone, and billing readiness. It asks about the audience, schedule, and spending limit, including whether the budget is total or daily.

Provide a video download link or select a video already uploaded to TikTok Ads Manager. Replit drafts the ad text and presents the video, destination URL, audience, budget, and schedule for review. After approval, it creates and schedules the campaign. TikTok’s ad review and delivery status determine when it starts running.

Check results in chat

Return to the chat to ask about spending, impressions, and clicks through to the site. The campaign guide focuses on website visits; tracking purchases or sign-ups requires additional setup, and clicks do not confirm conversions.

What is needed to start

The workflow requires a published app, a TikTok Ads account with billing set up, a budget and intended schedule, and a finished promotional video with permission to use it. Advertising costs are separate from Replit usage.
